I am super-excited to report that extreme right-wingers are overreacting to President Obama‘s victory in a delightfully cartoon-ish way. But were you really expecting anything else?
Joseph Farah, founder of WorldNetDaily.com and Snidely Whiplash mustache-model, is pissed.
There may be no way home for us.
For those of us who fundamentally reject Obama’s policies, things are going to get very rough for the next four years. We have allowed our fellow Americans to pronounce judgment on the nation.
That’s what Obama represents to me — God’s judgment on a people who have turned away from Him and His ways and from everything for which our founders sacrificed their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor.
This isn’t about fiscal policies so much as it is about the shifting morals of the country. It’s about G-O-D. Our country is moving towards non-discriminatory policies (like letting gay people get married) and this is not, I repeat not, what God has in mind. (I am tempted to question how an all-powerful god keeps letting this crap happen if it is so utterly against His will, but I won’t. Another conversation for another day.)
It’s time to form new communities of people who understand just how much Americans have been disenfranchised from our God-given rights and responsibilities.
