A teacher accused of soliciting an underage girl for sex has claimed he was carrying out research for a novel.Brian Gerald Shriner told detectives he needed to do research on the sin of ‘lust.’The 46 year old, who is also an Episcopalian priest, said he only went online in the hope of finding someone to talk with about his novel.Shriner, a father of four daughters, was arrested last month in an undercover online sting by police in Orlando, Florida.He thought he was talking to a 14-year-old girl but reality was in conversation with a detective posing as the girl.
