Authorities have made four arrests in a string of Amish-on-Amish violence that has ravaged an Ohio community.
WKYC-TV reported that Levi Miller, Johnny Mullet and Lester Mullet were rounded up Friday for the alleged role in crimes by 'The Bergholz Clan.'
The group was allegedly part of a breakaway sect driving to homes and attacking fellow Amish with scissors, cutting off the men’s beards and the women's hair - which is seen as degrading in Amish culture.

Amish religious violence and intolerance has skyrocketed in recent days. Will we see yet another schism, which resulted in the Amish in the first place?

But surly, we will hear the usual excuses, "They are different, they are not true Amish."

Amish, the Religion of peace? As a skeptic of all faiths, I find this claim, Hard to believe.

As I recall, it is the quakers that are the religion of peace, not the amish.

    Amish, the Religion of peace?

Amish is not a religion. The faith followed by Amish is referred to as Anabaptist.

Fellow skeptic, heed my words. If Anabaptism was the prominent religion of the US, we would be much better off.

As Anabaptists, Amish church members practice nonresistance and will not perform any type of military service.

Whilst any violence is not funny, this story is intended to be light hearted, humorous with a bit of sarcasm. I tried to comment the same.

Should have known just by their last names. Anyone who's name is 'Mullet' is bound to be trouble.

For this to be news in the UK... wow! Slow News Day over there?

I guess a slow news day is a good news day.

Understanding how rare this scenario is in the Amish Community and that they have come to this is pretty upsetting. However, they do live on US soil and do have to abide the law and I believe they should be punished for attacking and kidnapping anyone no matter who they are. I'd be roaringly PO'd if they broke in and woke me in the middle of the night and shaved my head. Bald heads get really, really cold and painful.

ps. Very humorous Grish about the "Mullet" comment. LoL
